Background
I was born in Madison, WI in December of 1991 and, according to my older sister, was reading when I came out of the womb. My favorite book as a child was Winnie the Pooh, by A. A. Milne. Now, I love it because I get to read to the child inside myself, the way Milne intended his stories to be read. Always keep your inner child healthy and alive.

Growing Up
I grew up and went to school right around Madison, and spent much of my childhood on University of Wisconsin - Madison's campus. Here is the Memorial Union and fountain where I'd write and do homework or just run around. I owe a lot of my current involvement in feminist causes to the Women's Center in the Union. Thanks for getting me on the right track!
Schooling
After graduating high school, I started at Michigan State University in Fall of 2010. I have graduated with my English and Secondary Education Bachelor's of Arts degree with Mathematics as a teaching minor and Anthropology as a non-teaching minor. Throughout school, I've gained many important experiences that help me understand myself and how I can listen to and help the world around me.
